M. H. Choudhry is the founder of Al Iman Ayurvedic Health Clinic and a renowned Hereditary Ayurvedic Medical Practitioner. Born into a family with a rich tradition of Ayurvedic healing, he inherited the wisdom of classical Ayurveda from his forefathers and dedicated his life to preserving and practicing this invaluable heritage.
Since founding Al Iman Ayurvedic Health Clinic in 1971, he has devoted himself to providing authentic Ayurvedic healthcare with compassion, integrity, and personalized patient care. His profound knowledge of traditional Ayurvedic medicines and holistic management of various health conditions has earned him the trust and respect of generations of patients.
He holds an L3 Licence as a Hereditary Ayurvedic Medical Practitioner. Throughout his distinguished career, he has received several recognitions for his contribution to Ayurveda. He was honoured by the Indian Union Muslim League for his lifelong journey and service in Ayurveda. In 1999, he received the Nehru Award in recognition of his remarkable legacy in traditional medicine. He was also honoured with the prestigious Chithira Thirunal Award for his specialization and dedicated service in Ayurvedic Sexual Health Treatment and Ano-Rectal Treatment.
M. H. Choudhry also served as the President of the Akhila Kerala Parambarya Vaidya Federation, where he played an important role in preserving, promoting, and strengthening the heritage of hereditary Ayurvedic medicine in Kerala.
Today, his vision and legacy continue through his son, Dr. Shakeel Choudhry, BAMS, who has carried forward the family's tradition of Ayurvedic healing. Dr. Shakeel specializes in Sexual Health Management and Ano-Rectal Treatment, combining the timeless wisdom inherited from his father with modern Ayurvedic education to provide ethical, compassionate, and evidence-informed patient care.
Together, their shared commitment reflects more than five decades of trusted Ayurvedic service, preserving a family legacy that has been passed down through generations while continuing to serve the community with dedication, authenticity, and excellence.
